Following Libby's lead, here's a photo of me crocheting in public! I'm behind the bar at work, making progress in the starghan... who else crochets in public? c'mon, I wanna see you! knit, crochet, whatever!!!!!
Oh, and about the CAL, how about aiming to finish it by the end of June? and we will post images in our post and/or in Ravelry... what do you think?
Thanks for all your kind comments, and my love goes right back at you. Please, keep remembering me in your prayers.

I crochet at work too, but it's not really in public. We're just a small company. But they have nicknamed me Martha Stewart for it =-D What's the CAL?
I haven't been crocheting in public that much lately because I haven't gone to too many places... LOL
Too bad nobody took a photo of me! But I did crochet in public a lot these last 5 days! They called me 'abuelita' LOL
I'm in for our little CAL. How wide is your starghan going to be? I don't know when to stop...
Ashley: the CAL is for the Starghan, the one I'm crocheting in the photo... :D
Ale: it figures! lol! when the girls were little I carried my work around but never had the chance to make any progress!
Alhana: they asume I'm pregnant when they see me crocheting, so it is sometimes trying to say the least("no, Im not...no, not anytime soon... well, because I had a c-section...I crochet because I LIKE TO, not because I HAVE to...") The starghan... well, I don't know when will I stop! lol! I've used gray twice and pink once, and maybe I'll go for three stripes of each... should be enough to cover a baby, shouldn't it? lol!
I have to give credit where credit is due. I started crocheting in public when Alessandra kept posting pics of her crocheting in the doctor's office when she was pregnant!
CT, I should make you a tee shirt that says:
"No, ¡No Estoy Embarazada!"
LOL@Libby! you know, I think you are right! that's a great idea!!!
aaaah okay! I have the pattern linked in my ravelry if you want to see which one it is: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/KnotsbyAshley/baby-starghan-star-afghan
I was planning to make a t-shirt "sí, ya sé que tu abuela hacía punto" but Libby's one is great!
It's almost World Wide Knit in Public Day. June 13th and 14th. Obviously, it's grown beyond one day, and for good reason.
Last night, I was spinning yarn on my front porch and I drew an audience including my neighbors and a stray cat.
Dear Lord, You know what things CT is going through right now and WE know that You are in control of everything. Give us strenth Lord to overcome the difficulties in life that will actually make us stronger, and more loving people. Thank you for surrounding CT in your love and protection. In Jesus' name, Amen
Hello Friend
